Job Description
Hamlyn Williams have partnered with an Investment Bank looking to make multiple hires in their Counterparty Credit Risk team.
These roles are being hired as part of a team build up, with high visibility in the business.
This role requires you to work on site two times per-week in the New York Metropolitan region. If you are not able to work on site two times per-week please do not apply.
As an SVP Counterparty Credit Risk you will:
- Be responsible for one of three pillars as follows:
- Overseeing the end-to-end execution and oversight of CCR stress testing, for internal initiatives and CCAR (including model exposure; PFE, EAD)
- Leading the CCR reporting process, with accountability to senior management, Board and regulators (including PFE, EPE, PowerBI experience is a plus)
- Driving and developing the Banks CCR platform as a product owner (including knowledge of software development technologies, ad CCR/ risk platforms)
- Be heavily involved in stakeholder and regulator interactions
- Have a strong understanding of regulator expectations around CCR, reporting, governance, etc.
- Be responsible for running end to end projects
As an SVP Counterparty Credit Risk you will need:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role, either as a product owner (ideally for CCR), in risk analytics, stress testing, counterparty credit risk, or in risk reporting
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or similar.
- Strong soft skills, including; communication, leadership, teamwork, adaptability, etc.
- Experience with Agle methodology is a plus
