HWThree have partnered with a New York-based Investment Bank that are looking to hire a Vice President of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Audit.

This role is on a hybrid basis, out of New York City. If you are not able to work on site 3 days per-week please do not apply.

As a VP Cybersecurity Auditor, you will:

• Plan and preform internal audits over the firms cybersecurity, data security, cloud security and infrastructure, to produce deliverables, within a timely manner
• Develop audit programs and perform audit fieldwork, such as system documentation, evaluations, interviews, and technical analysis
• Work closely with internal, and global IA colleagues to identify emerging control issues and discuss/ implement remediations
• Evaluate internal controls in key technology risk areas to ensure compliance with internal policies as well as applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare audit work-papers and audit reports
• Stay up to date with latest auditing technologies and methodologies
• Oversee and report on key projects to Head of IT Audit

As a VP Cybersecurity Auditor, you will require:

• 7+ years’ IT audit, cyber security or infrastructure experience within a bank or financial institution
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or some other related field
• CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CIA or other relevant certification is preferred
• Experience managing audits throughout an matrixed organization
• Experience identifying and testing key risks and controls for IT applications
• Strong oral and written communication skills
