Job Description
Lead Control Systems Engineer – Emerson DeltaV
If you’re a senior Control Systems Engineer who likes full project ownership from design and programming to commissioning, this role puts you in the driver’s seat.
Join a well‑established industrial automation firm working across oil & gas, chemical, and manufacturing. You’ll lead DCS/PLC automation projects and be the go‑to expert on Emerson DeltaV and DeltaV SIS.
What you’ll do:
Lead design, programming, FAT/SAT, loop checks, and startup of DCS/PLC systems
Configure/support Emerson DeltaV and DeltaV SIS
Review/approve control panel and cabinet designs
Troubleshoot live plant systems and support upgrades
Work directly with customers on safe, reliable automation solutions
Split time between engineering office work and on‑site commissioning
Tech you’ll work with:
DeltaV, DeltaV SIS, PRoVOX, RS3, AMS, Plantweb
PLCs: Emerson PACSystems, Rockwell, Modicon, Triconex
ROC/Bristol flow computers, industrial networking & instrumentation
What you bring:
Senior‑level automation/control systems experience
Strong hands‑on DeltaV capability
PLC programming & troubleshooting skills
Solid process control + safety systems knowledge
Comfort in plant environments and willingness to travel (1–4 hrs)
