Job Description

Lead Control Systems Engineer – Emerson DeltaV
If you’re a senior Control Systems Engineer who likes full project ownership from design and programming to commissioning, this role puts you in the driver’s seat.

Join a well‑established industrial automation firm working across oil & gas, chemical, and manufacturing. You’ll lead DCS/PLC automation projects and be the go‑to expert on Emerson DeltaV and DeltaV SIS.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead design, programming, FAT/SAT, loop checks, and startup of DCS/PLC systems

  • Configure/support Emerson DeltaV and DeltaV SIS

  • Review/approve control panel and cabinet designs

  • Troubleshoot live plant systems and support upgrades

  • Work directly with customers on safe, reliable automation solutions

  • Split time between engineering office work and on‑site commissioning

Tech you’ll work with:
DeltaV, DeltaV SIS, PRoVOX, RS3, AMS, Plantweb
PLCs: Emerson PACSystems, Rockwell, Modicon, Triconex
ROC/Bristol flow computers, industrial networking & instrumentation


What you bring:

  • Senior‑level automation/control systems experience

  • Strong hands‑on DeltaV capability

  • PLC programming & troubleshooting skills

  • Solid process control + safety systems knowledge

  • Comfort in plant environments and willingness to travel (1–4 hrs)
