Hamlyn Williams has partnered with a growing regional bank that requires an Technology Risk Manager. This is a full-time role based out of Manhattan.

As a Technology Risk Manager, you will:

• Conduct risk assessments using established RCSA methodologies tailored for IT and cyber risks, considering current and emerging threats.
• Lead continuous monitoring and controls testing to validate ongoing effectiveness.
• Advise business units on risks and controls related to new products and services, business initiatives, and outsourced third party activities.
• Work across the business to identify and assess IT and cybersecurity risks, ensuring alignment with the ERM and ORM Frameworks.
• Conduct review and challenge process in evaluating and reviewing risk profiles, business processes, risk indicators, controls, remediation plans, etc.
• Act as subject matter expert for IT and cybersecurity risk across different business units.

As a Technology Risk Manager, you will require:

• A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or some other related field
• 6+ years of relevant experience in activities relating to banking and the financial services industry.
• Relevant industry experience across one or more of the three lines of defense
• Experience in risk management across information technology, cybersecurity, third party, business continuity management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
